Claimed, not merely won
A round counts once its winner claims it. Winnings that have settled but not been claimed are not included, and neither are refunds, which are returned stakes rather than earnings. Dollar values for mined COAL are what it was worth when earned: each round's COAL at the pool price when that round settled, so they do not move with the market. Rounds settled before prices were recorded are left out of the dollar figure.
